eden pavilion
A temporary pavilion for FIGMENT’s “City of Dreams” festival in Governors Island. The pavilion is design to provide a simple and embracing temporary structure that captures and amplifies the participatory spirit of the festival. A series of tilted planes create a porous boundary and inscribe a circular court that defines an active core in an open field. The structure remains open, capturing the space within while providing shelter, shade, and cover from the rain, along is perimeter.
